INTERNATIONAL GALLERY RIFLE
Gallery Rifle has come a long way since 1997. For those who want to take competition to a higher level, there are GR teams lead by Sharon Bowden competing both nationally and internationally.
Members of teams for UK, England, Scotland and Wales are selected on performance, consistency and commitment.
Anyone can take part at any level they wish provided they meet the relevant criteria. You do not have to know the ‘right people’ or belong to a perceived elite. All the results from open meetings around the country are compiled centrally and the competitors who achieve the best results are asked if they want to take part.
Three international matches, with the UK National Team taking part, are held each year - one in the UK, The Phoenix the others are in the Republic of Ireland Fermoy, and one in Germany, Lietmar.
The three national teams compete at the Phoenix and at the National Championship Meetings.
