Gallery Rifle has come a long way since 1997. For those who want to take competition to a higher level.
Members for for the Great Britain team come from, England, Scotland and Wales and are selected on performance, consistency and commitment.
Anyone can take part at any level they wish provided they meet the relevant criteria. You do not have to know the ‘right people’ or belong to a perceived elite. All the results from open meetings around the country are compiled centrally and the competitors who achieve the best results are asked if they want to take part.
Four international matches, with the UK National Team taking part, are held each year - one in the Great Britain, at Bisley the others are in the Republic of Ireland Harbor house near Dublin, and one in Germany, Lietmar the other South Africa.
At national level three teams compete at the Phoenix and at the National Championship Meetings, England, Scotland and Wales.
